Rockstar Games has announced the next major Grand Theft Auto VI presentation.
Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look will take place on August 27, 2026 at 3 PM ET.
The announcement was published by Rockstar Games on August 6 and marks the next major official GTA VI showcase following Trailer 2.
AN EXTENDED LOOK — AUGUST 27
Rockstar has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look will premiere on August 27 at 3 PM ET.
The presentation is prominently featured on the official GTA VI website alongside Trailer 1 and Trailer 2.
At this stage, Rockstar has not published a full breakdown of everything that will be included in the presentation.
That means specific gameplay systems, missions, map details or additional characters should not be treated as confirmed until the event airs.
THE NEXT MAJOR GTA VI REVEAL
An Extended Look represents the next major step in Rockstar’s GTA VI reveal campaign.
Trailer 1 introduced the state of Leonida, Vice City and Lucia in December 2023.
Trailer 2 significantly expanded the game in May 2025, formally introducing Jason Duval and revealing more about the central story, supporting characters and locations across Leonida.
Rockstar later expanded the official GTA VI website with character profiles, location pages, screenshots, artwork, videos and launch information.
The August 27 presentation will now provide the next official look at the game.

GTA VI IS APPROACHING LAUNCH
Grand Theft Auto VI is officially scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
That places An Extended Look less than three months before release.
Pre-orders are already available, and digital preload begins on November 12.
The timing makes the August presentation particularly significant as Rockstar moves deeper into GTA VI’s final launch campaign.
