Following the release of Trailer 2, Rockstar expanded the official GTA VI website with detailed character profiles and a clearer story synopsis.
Together, the new information provides the strongest official picture yet of who Jason and Lucia are, where they came from and why they end up depending on each other.

Jason Duval wants an easier life, but Rockstar makes clear that trouble has followed him for years.
He grew up around grifters and criminals and spent his teenage years heading down a difficult path.
In an attempt to change direction, Jason spent time in the Army.
But after leaving military life, he eventually found himself in the Leonida Keys working for local drug runners.
Rockstar’s profile presents Jason as someone who understands the criminal world because he has been surrounded by it for most of his life.
He wants something different, but escaping that environment may prove much harder than he expects.
Meeting Lucia becomes a defining moment in his life.
